Deep Learning Research Scientist

I have
the pleasure of working with one of the hottest AI start-ups on the East Coast,
they are looking to hire a number of excellent Research Scientists (Deep
Learning and/or Computer Vision) and Software Engineers.

This
firm already has a number of clients in place and are generating impressive
revenues. Their main investor is a multi-billion dollar firm that have ensured
a huge level of resources to support their research effort and growth.

They are building a
data-driven model of the global economy using Computer Vision, Machine Learning
and Deep Learning techniques. They have access to 85PB of data from the past 5
years to work on and they are using this to build a technology base that will
make them the global leaders in this space. They have a plethora of avenues
into which they can research and provide useful data from unstructured sources
using techniques such as object detection, recognition, GIS databases etc. It
is also pertinent to note, they don’t intend to replace the need for humans or
jobs; they are creating solutions and insight to augment human decision making
processes.

Their tech stack is largely
built around TensorFlow (some Caffe/Torch/Theano) and Python, though they also
use a lot of Java, C++ and some R.

Their Researchers are
expected to attend leading conferences (NIPS, ICML, CVPR etc) and will be able
to publish papers. This firm is based within a short distance of MIT, Harvard
and Boston University, they hold weekly invitation only machine learning &
deep learning seminars with academics and local research groups where they
present and discuss the latest in state-of-the-art research.

My client is able to pay
extremely competitive salaries (above typical start-up rates) as well generous
equity portions.

If you
would like to find out more details on this fantastic company and the markets
in which they are disrupting, then please apply with a CV to this advert or to my email –
