The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC)’s
Advanced Digital Sciences Center (ADSC) in Singapore is looking for a
post-doctoral researcher as well as software engineers to join our team for a
project on the real-time analysis of facial expressions for emotion recognition
in human-machine interaction and other scenarios. One of the purposes of this
research is making agents or robots more empathic in their interaction with
users.

Relevant expertise in computer vision and knowledge of C++,
Matlab, and/or Python is required.

Some background in human-computer interaction (HCI) and
psychological studies/crowdsourcing will be a plus.
