Intelligent Automation, Inc. (IAI) is looking for a new team member who is an outstanding researcher with a background in computer vision, robotics, and machine learning. The successful candidate will join a team of vision and robotics scientists and participate in rewarding research to develop algorithms for image and video analysis and to design solutions for vision applications. Related projects at IAI include object detection and tracking, multi-sensor fusion, robotic vision, machine vision inspection, and sensor simulation. We are looking to add expertise and talent to our multi-disciplinary team to continue to achieve success in all of these areas. 
CITIZENSHIP / IMMIGRATION STATUS: 
* Due to ITAR restrictions, we can only accept applicants that are either US citizens or US permanent residents (Green Card). 
JOB DUTIES: 
* Conduct research and development in the area of computer vision and image processing
* Design, implement, and integrate computer vision algorithms and prototypes
* Interact with and support multiple research teams with computer vision and image processing expertise
* Support program management and business development efforts by writing reports/papers, contributing to proposals, presenting to customers, etc.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
* Masters or Doctorate Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
* Minimum 4 years of experience in computer vision research, development, and engineering
REQUIRED SKILLS: 
* Solid understanding of computer vision and machine learning concepts and key algorithms
* Solid understanding of software engineering and object-oriented programming
* Minimum 3 years of experience with C++ or similar language
* Experience with integrating, testing, debugging, and deploying computer vision systems
* Proficient technical writing and strong communication skills 
DESIRED SKILLS: 
* Strong background in math and physics
* Strong software and hardware debugging skills
* Experience with TensorFlow, Dlib, NVIDIA Deep Learning SDK, and/or other deep learning software libraries
* Experience with following libraries: OpenCV, Boost, PCL, and OpenNI
* Experience with programming tools such as MATLAB, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Subversion, and Git
* Experience with GUI and Graphics tools such as MFC, Qt, OpenGL, Unity, or others
* Experience in parallel processing such as GPU programming with CUDA or OpenCL
* Experience in optics and sensor simulation
