I am working in
partnership with a revolutionary geospatial satellite computer vision firm, who
require a world-class senior computer vision researcher to take a hands-on
leading role in the firm.  The successful
candidate will assist them in converting big data into actionable intelligence.

The sky is literally the limit with regards to this firm’s
aspirations and more importantly capabilities within their field. They are
working towards solving some of the greatest socioeconomic problems of our time
through their pioneering methodologies. You will be afforded an unparalleled
opportunity to work at the forefront of computer vision innovation, where your
work will have a significant tangible impact upon humanity. This role not only
represents an opportunity to work on quite frankly awesome projects, but also
to work alongside people with backgrounds from some of the most exciting and
influential corporations (including Apple, Google, Amazon and NASA), research
and academic institutions (including Harvard, Stanford, UIUC and Inria).

This firm is backed by some of the most well-known VCs, with
an exceptionally significant figure of total equity funding. My client also
generates significant revenues from their research and this element of their
work continues to prosper.

My client is looking for someone with a number of years’
industry experience across computer vision (e.g. semantic segmentation/ object
detection/ image classification), machine learning & deep learning. It
would be potentially useful (though not a prerequisite) to have wider skills
within cloud computing, geospatial data or automated analysis of satellite,
aerial or other multispectral imagery. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will
typically enjoy a relentless pursuit of innovation as well as exploring new
approaches that defy the norm; with a great level of self-fulfilment deriving
from taking projects from prototype through to production.

This firm offers excellent salaries and stock
options, amongst a wide variety of perks. Including 401k, medical insurance,
frequent catered lunches and paid time off. Their business is rapidly expanding
its capabilities and thus this hire represents an exceptional opportunity for
growth, for the right individual.
